Traceability & Testing

Visual and Dimensional Testing

Each and Every Product is visually and dimensionally inspected before Electrostatic and Hydro Test.

PTFE Testing

PTFE Liners Samples are taken for Testing after each sintering. Test includes Visual, Dimensional, Specific Gravity and Tensile Test.
All these Test Results are noted on the Sheet and Records are kept for Evaluation.

Hard Stamping
The Products are hard punched on the fix flanges describing the companies Name-Month-Year-Serial No. which helps us to cross reference with the Individual Department Production Sheets Maintained from Material Issue to Final QC of the Product.

Electrostatic Test
Each and Every product is subjected to Electrostatic Test of 15 KV.

Hydro Test
Each and every product is subjected to Hydro Test of 29.8 Kg/cm2 for 3 Minutes.

Packing

  • Paint: Two Coats of Red oxide or as specified by customer on additional cost.
  • Both ends of product covered by wooden or plastic hand covers for protecting the flaring surface,
  • Bubble sheet packing for protecting painting surface in transportation.

Certificates with End Product

  • MTC containing physical and chemical properties
  • DuPont Test Certificate for material used
  • QC Report.
  • 100% Dimensional Inspection of all incoming and outgoing materials on super industrial lining private limited data sheets.
  • All Products are marked with hard punch in every stage of process for Traceability like Year-month - Product Serial No and maintaining data on super industrial lining private data sheets.

PTEEFlouorpolymer or Flouroplastic is defined as a polymer consisting of carbon (C) and Fluorine (F).They are also referred as Perflouropolymers to distinguish from partially fluorinated polymers, flouoroelastomers, and other polymers that contain fluorine in their chemical structure. An Example of linear Flouropolymer is tetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
The Basic Properties of fluoropolymers arise from the atomic structure of fluorine, carbon and their covalent bonding in specific chemical structures. These properties are weakened as the chemical structure become less perfluorinated as in polyvinylidenefluoride.PTFE Backbone is formed by carbon-carbon bonds and carbon-Fluorine Bonds.
The Size of the fluorine atom allows the formation of uniform and continuous sheath around the carbon-carbon bonds and protects them from attack, thus imparting chemical resistance and stability to molecule. The Fluorine sheath is also responsible for low surface energy and low coefficient of friction. Another attribute of the uniform fluorine sheath is the electrical inertness of the PTFE Molecule.

There is Branched Flouoropolymer such as fluorinated ethylene Propylene Polymer (FEP).
FEP
Oxygen and chlorine are present in the chemical structure of some commercial Fluoropolymers such as Perflouroalkoxy polymer. (PFA)
PFA

PVDFThere is a second class of fluoropolymers called partially fluorinated in contrast to perfluorinated polymers. These Molecules include hydrogen in addition to fluorine and carbon. Example includes PolyVinylidene Fluoride. (PVDF).

PPPolypropylene, also known as polypropylene, is neither a fully or partially fluorinated fluoropolymer having lesser chemical and temperature resistance compared to other fluoropolymers. Polypropylene works ideally in a process temperature upto 100°C for mildly corrosive media.

  • Pipes:
    Seamless as per ASTM A 106, Sch. of Pipe: - 25 NB to 150 NB as per Sch.40, from 200 NB to 400 NB as per Sch.20.
  • Pipes will have one side loose flange and other side fixed flange.
  • Elbow:
    As per ASTM A 395/A234.
  • Fittings:
    As per ASTM A 395 / A 234.
  • Flanges:
    As per IS2062, ASTM A 105, SOFF, ANSI 150#.
  • Fittings Dimensions:
    Over all dimensions as per ANSI B16.5 150 #.
  • Pipe/Elbow Liners:
    Manufactured by paste extrusion process by using virgin PTFE as per ASTM D 4895 only BY DuPont resin 669.
  • Tee/Red Tee Liners:
    Manufactured by injection molding (melt) process by using virgin PFA as per ASTM D 3307 only.
  • Reducers Liners:
    Single step down reducers will be manufactured in PTFE as per ASTM D 4895 and more than one step reducers will be manufactured in PFA as per ASTM D 3307.

Our Equipments

Process
Super Industrial Lining Private Limited use Paste Extrusion Method for PTFE Pipe Liners and for Fittings and Valves use Injection Molding Process.

Paste Extrusion Process

  • We have the capacity of making PTFE Liners from 25 NB to 600 NB.
  • Maximum Length we can Extrude of 6 Meter Length till 200 NB PTFE Pipe and above that 3 Meter.

Ram Extrusion Process

  • We have the capacity of making PTFE Liners from 25 NB to 300 NB.
  • Maximum Length we can Extrude of 6 Meter Length till 300 NB.
  • PTFE Rod

Injection Molding Process

  • Injection Molding is done after thorough Cleaning with the help of Wet Blasting Machine.
  • Fittings and Valves are Injection Molded with PFA, FEP, PVDF, PP and HDPE, Antistatic polymers are also processed.
  • Fittings and Valves are Properly Machined in the Machine shop for Better Surface Finish and Visibility.
  • Size 15NB TO 300NB

Transfer Molding Process

  • Injection Molding is done after thorough Cleaning with the help of Wet Blasting Machine.
  • Fittings and Valves are Injection Molded with PFA, FEP, PVDF, PP and HDPE, Antistatic polymers are also processed.
  • Fittings and Valves are Properly Machined in the Machine shop for Better Surface Finish and Visibility.
  • Size UP TO 800NB

“A young glass blower with a vision and determination to chart out new boundaries moved out from Mumbai to Vadodara to establish his own company.

With the help of friends and family he established his own glass blowing facility, SUPER SCIENTIFIC GLASS INDUSTRIES in a small shed in the year 1982.

This young entrepreneur with a big vision, Mr. NARESH GOYAL, has come a long way from that small shed to a diversified group of companies.

Today the company has grown and spread its activities into BOROSILICATE GLASS EQUIPMENTS, PTFE PRODUCTS, FLUOROPOLYMER LINED PIPES, LINED FITTINGS, VALVES AND CHEMICAL MANUFACTURING.
